Sundanese gamelan names several West Javanese ensemble and repertory traditions, including salendro-related practice and the distinctive degung family. Tembang Sunda, kacapi-suling, jaipongan and wayang golek connect to overlapping regional worlds, but not all are gamelan genres. Javanese and Balinese gamelan offer further comparison without supplying a universal template.
