Summary
Nattan, also known as Nattanzinho, is a Brazilian singer working across Forró eletrônico, piseiro and the wider Contemporary Forró scene. He is a different artist from Natanzinho Lima, whose better-known later work belongs to arrocha.[1]
Life and career
Nattan's career developed through the modern Northeastern popular-music circuit. His interview about Paredão do Nattan describes São João as a demanding season of travel and performance across states, connecting his recorded music with a large live audience.[1]
Music and style
His projects bring romantic singing into dance-oriented arrangements. The range can include electronic forró, piseiro, vaquejada material and songs from neighboring repertoires. A paredão is a powerful sound-system context; its appearance in a project title does not promise that every track has one identical rhythm.
Works and performances
Paredão do Nattan is a useful example of this breadth. Xand Avião's discussion of the Viiixe festival places Nattan in a shared performance circuit with João Gomes and other contemporary forró singers. These links make the broader category informative even where a narrow track label remains debatable.[1][2]
