Summary

Major Polish urban and suburban circuits connect rap, pop, guitar bands, electronic production, club listening and jazz, with contemporary migrant and community music. This is a dispersed network of listening scenes.[1]

Contemporary and trending

Rap and pop circulate nationally; metropolitan mixes add a stronger electronic and jazz route. Ukrainian pop offers a contemporary adopted-language route alongside Polish and international songs. City audiences remain diverse.[1]

History

Recording, broadcasting, universities, clubs and touring connect these cities with each other and with smaller places. Their role as production centres does not give them exclusive ownership of modern listening.[1]

Genres

Polish pop; Polish hip-hop; Polish rock; Disco polo; Polish electronic music; Polish folk and roots music; House; Techno; Jazz; Ukrainian pop. Relative rotation is editorial programming, not a measured audience survey.

Artists

Dawid Podsiadło, bambi, Pezet, Baasch, Skalpel, Joanna Duda and EABS illustrate different recorded worlds; none is a proxy for every city.

Boundary definition and research

Approximate authored musical landscape clipped to the existing Poland outline. Metropolitan and dispersed-community areas use saved separate footprints; they are scene and circulation approximations, not municipal limits, census estimates or ethnic boundaries.
