Summary

Mangambeu is a western Cameroonian song-and-dance repertoire especially associated with Bangangté and the Ndé area. Local ensemble and association practice coexist with amplified popular interpretations. The term therefore covers more than one stage arrangement while retaining a specific regional musical identity.
