Life and career
He began his recording career around 2010. Recalling the early period, he described learning through the difficulties of managing his own progress. Collaborations with Flavour and Phyno helped bring his music to listeners who already followed those performers.[1]
Music and style
Freestyle and informal ideas are starting points in his songwriting. 'Ogene', featuring Flavour, brings rap together with the recognizable gong-centered vocabulary of an Igbo ensemble tradition. The adaptation makes those sounds available in a commercial rap recording while community ogene ensembles retain their own performance settings.[1][2]
Works and performances
'Ogene', 'Buy the Bar', 'Mbada', 'Landlady', 'Zoro to Hero' and 'Nwunyem' are among his singles.
