Every encyclopedia article follows a defined category template. These records specify the permitted sections and their order. Template definitions are public; only the MuGlobe superadministrator can change them.

Templates can be read by everyone. Creating or changing one requires MuGlobe superadministrator permission.

Musical work

Identify whether the subject is a song, composition, album or another musical work. Distinguish the work from a particular recording or interpretation. Credit creators and performers where known and acknowledge collective or uncertain origins. Describe what listeners hear without requiring notation or commercial success. Cultural context and reception is optional.
