== Summary ==

Serbian hip-hop and trap connects rapped verse, beat-led song, drill and melodic trap within Serbian-language scenes. It includes club and streaming hits as well as underground rap. These are related practices with different histories, audiences and production choices, rather than a claim that every record has the same sound.<ref>[https://www.bassivitygroup.com/ Bassivity: artists and production projects]. == Contemporary and trending ==

Voyage and Nucci represent prominent melodic and club-facing work; Gad, Balkan, Automatti and Kartel provide specific examples. Crni Cerak’s numbered CC recordings introduce another current, while Mimi Mercedez and Sajsi MC add distinct voices and performance identities. Their coexistence with Prti Bee Gee, Ajs Nigrutin and Smoke Mardeljano keeps the collection from equating contemporary rap solely with one commercial duo. EXIT’s 2025 bill included Coby, Crni Cerak and Kendi alongside other scenes.<ref>[https://www.exitfest.org/en/most-important-info-in-one-place-all-set-for-exit-2025 EXIT: 2025 programme and local performers]. == History ==

Earlier crews, independent releases and local performance networks established a rap public before the current streaming economy. Production companies, soundtracks and video channels subsequently connected street-oriented imagery and rapping to a wider popular market. Bassivity’s work on the Južni Vetar films and series is a concrete example of this circulation.<ref>[https://www.bassivitygroup.com/ Bassivity: artists and production projects]. == Musical characteristics ==

Rapped delivery and beat structure remain central, but the collection moves between sample-associated rap textures, heavier electronic low end, rapid programmed subdivisions and melodic refrains. Pop-folk ornament and club production appear in some hybrids. Those features should be assessed in the named recording rather than inferred from a performer’s nationality or reputation.

== Geography and communities ==

The capital has a strong scene, but rap is heard across urban and rural Serbia through shared digital and social networks. Novi Sad and Niš are additional concentrations, not isolated islands surrounded by silence. Local cultural and language repertoires remain alongside this broader youth-oriented circulation; the map does not assign a genre to an ethnic identity.

== Artists ==

Nucci, Voyage, Crni Cerak, Mimi Mercedez, Sajsi MC, Prti Bee Gee and Ajs Nigrutin span several generations and positions. The collection retains named collaborations, including guests and production-linked identities, and excludes reactions, interviews, sped-up copies and repeated lyric uploads of the same master.
