== Summary ==

Aragonese jota is a living local route alongside current rap, pop and rock. Rural and urban Aragón share contemporary recordings; the inherited form does not replace them.<ref>[https://www.rtve.es/play/audios/la-copla-que-el-viento-lleva/jota-cosmopolita-16-01-25/16409679/ RNE: La jota cosmopolita, researcher Marta Vela, 16 January 2025]</ref>

Everyday listening here includes national and international pop, locally produced rap, reggaetón and rock. == History ==

The region connects inherited musical practice with movement of performers, recorded media, migration and contemporary production. A historic point of origin is not automatically today’s strongest listening concentration.

== Boundary definition and research ==

Authored musical listening frame using pinned Natural Earth 1:10m Spanish provincial land, with a 0.025-degree coastal margin to include port communities outside a generalized shoreline. Administrative reference is a practical approximation, not a cultural boundary or an individual audience measurement. No boundary is inferred during playback.
