Local-language and traditional repertoire coexist with Russian pop; Russian rock; Russian hip-hop. Established recordings supply a bounded first selection; their inclusion is not a claim about current chart rank.

Repertoire and listening balance
This landscape now offers Bashkir folk music, Tatar song alongside a varied adopted Russian-language repertoire. The listening mix no longer repeats the same pop-first national weights at every point. Different fields distinguish northwest and Ural rock, Siberian guitar and author-song networks, central and southern vocal traditions, urban chanson and contemporary rap. Broader commercial pop remains available as one part of the mixture. The map expresses musical affinities, not measured local audience shares; incomplete community coverage is not evidence that such music is absent.
