Summary
Felipe Amorim is a singer and songwriter from Fortaleza whose music combines a Forró foundation with pop, funk, trap and other popular styles. He uses the name popzeiro for this hybrid approach. His work belongs centrally in Contemporary Forró, while the mix changes from song to song.

Life and career
Before becoming widely known as a singer, Amorim worked as a songwriter with collaborators including Caio Djay and Kaleb. In an interview he described supplying songs to Os Barões da Pisadinha, Zé Vaqueiro, Xand Avião, Wesley Safadão and other artists. His own performing career developed from that existing network, with 'Sem Sentimento' and 'Putariazinha' helping to bring him a new audience.

Music and style
Amorim's account of popzeiro is unusually useful for understanding contemporary genre language. He identifies forró as the underlying foundation even when the surface production draws on funk or trap, and points to the continuing role of accordion, guitar and a vaquejada-related rhythmic base. He also names Gabriel Diniz's stage energy as a reference for his own shows.

The hybrid name is an artist's explanation of his practice, not proof that a fixed new genre has replaced forró. It helps listeners hear continuity within conspicuously modern production. The contrast between composition, recorded arrangement and live presentation is particularly important in his work.

Works and performances
'Tá Rocheda', recorded by Os Barões da Pisadinha, connects Amorim's songwriting to the piseiro breakthrough. 'Toca o Trompete' represents his own pop-facing catalogue. Compare these with 'Sem Sentimento' to hear how the same creative network can produce different vocal identities and grooves.
