Summary
Tarcísio do Acordeon is a Brazilian singer and accordionist whose music connects Forró de vaquejada, piseiro and electronic accompaniment. The accordion is central to his identity without confining him to an exclusively acoustic style.

Life and career
In an interview about the piseiro boom, Tarcísio described bringing earlier band experience and accordion playing into a smaller electronic setup. He also identified his practice with forró de vaquejada. These descriptions explain why sources can apply several labels to the same career without necessarily contradicting one another.

Music and style
Accordion melody, a strong sung presence and programmed accompaniment coexist in his recordings. That combination links instrumental inheritance to contemporary production. The presence of a sanfona alone does not determine whether a recording belongs to Traditional Forró, while electronic backing does not sever its regional musical relationships.

Works and performances
'Meia Noite' and 'Meu Sonho' offer entry points into his repertoire. His participation in the wider circuit described by Xand Avião places him alongside João Gomes, Zé Vaqueiro and other contemporary singers, while his specific accordion-led approach remains identifiable.
